History

The USSR national team was formed in 2003 specifically to participate in the Summer Cup (contrary to the name, only Sergey Sivoho from PDI played in the Higher League in Soviet times). Despite the fact that in this composition the team never appeared on the KVN stage, all the team members played a considerable number of games in the Higher KVN League , and many of them participated in the Summer Cup at various times and became its owners. In their first game, the USSR national team won and won the Summer Cup, overtaking their closest rivals by 0.1 points. The next game of the team was the 2003 Special Project. This time the CIS team became a rival of the team, which, like the USSR national team, included participants who at various times played KVN in the Highest League. In that game, the CIS team was stronger. The third and last appearance of the team in KVN occurred in 2004. The USSR national team in incomplete composition took part in the annual Special Project in honor of the birthday of the club. That day Garik Martirosyan and Grigory Gasparyan did not appear on the scene.
