Valery Anatolyevich Kachaev (born March 14, 1966 , p. Yelizovo , Kamchatka Region ) - Russian artist , director and screenwriter , animator, actor. In the past - a participant in the clown-trio “Shop Fu” (which later turned into a “ Pun ”), an animator of the “ Pilot ” studio. One of the creators of StudioKS - a studio specializing in illustrations, storyboards, animatics for films, commercials and television.

Biography

Born in a military family. In adulthood, he lived in Odessa , where he studied as an artist. In 1986 he graduated from the Odessa Theater and Art School (OTKhTU), majoring as a fake artist, specializing in puppet-decoration. He was engaged in pantomime. He became one of the participants in the clown-trio “Shop Fu”, where he was the first to embody the image of the Sailor known in the TV program “ Pun ”.

Later he moved to Moscow, got a job at the animation studio "Pilot", where he worked as a scriptwriter and animator. At the same time he studied at the higher directing courses at Goskino , in the workshop of Eduard Nazarov . Since 1992, already a director [1] .

He participated in the creation of more than 40 commercials.

Together with Tatyana Kirillovna Chernyaeva was the host of the Memorina television program.

Filmed as an actor in a number of television and advertising projects.

Later, together with Igor Sapozhkov, he created the StudioKS illustration studio. One of the most famous works is the storyboard for the part of the movie “ Night Watch ”. The studio also released the first Russian hardcover comics in Russia - The Queen of Spades and Anna Karenina .

In March 2010, he signed the appeal of the Russian opposition " Putin must leave ."

He brings up five children, two of whom are foster children. He was one of the heroes of the documentary series "Real Adoption" [2] of the TLC channel and the magazine "Russian Reporter" on adoption in Russia.
