History

In November 1937, the Tenkinsky road-building district was organized in the Dorstroy management system. In December, a group of prospectors went in search of a route to Tenka. Madown is located in the valley of Magadaven (71 km), from the first years of the construction of the highway, the construction headquarters was located here. In September 1938, with the advent of the prisoner stages, the village began to grow.

Located in a narrow cozy valley, it is now one of the best on the highway. School, club, hostel, central heating in all houses. The village has a solid fleet and an unfinished factory for the production of non-toxic durable dacite gravel from the Arman deposit. Here, as before, the road management of the Tenkinsky highway is located (OJSC "Tenkinsky Highway Company"). Over the years, the road department served more than 600 km, including winter roads and porches.

The surrounding hills are famous for honeysuckle, currants, rose hips, lingonberries. There are still a lot of animals in the forests, and fish in the river.

The question was raised about the settlement [2] .

For 2017, the village is no longer considered "the best on the highway." The school is closed, there is no kindergarten. The Tenkin Road Administration is no longer there either. Now his place is occupied by a private trader. The management building itself, built in the 30s, also no longer exists. "Private trader" did everything so that the "story" did not revive.
