Lexington green

Memorial obelisk at the battlefield

Lexington Green is the scene of an armed clash between American and British forces in 1775 during the Revolutionary War . Located near Lexington , Massachusetts in the USA .

There is a commemorative obelisk with a bas-relief image of a fragment of the battle, as well as a statue of Captain John Parker.

In 1966, the memorial was included in the list of major US attractions .
