History

The post of governor of the Lipetsk region was established in 1991.

Appointment (1991-1993)

In 1991, President of the Russian Federation Boris Nikolayevich Yeltsin appointed the heads of the executive branch in the regions.

So, on October 23, 1991, by decree of the President of the RSFSR, G.V. was appointed Governor of the Lipetsk Region Merchants . On December 23, 1992, he was dismissed by decree of President B. N.
