Arogenesis

Arogenesis is the process of transforming an organization leading to aromorphosis (a synonym is anagenesis [1] ). It is sometimes used as a synonym for the concept of aromorphosis, which is not entirely correct [2] . Arogenesis as a macroevolutionary process cannot be continuous, since in this case the continuity is lost, and adaptation for organisms ( taxa ) is impossible. Therefore, as a constant evolutionary process, arogenesis can only be thought of as an ideal line composed of the development of different taxa.

Arogenesis is a direction of evolution in which, as a result of the acquisition of new large devices, the development of groups is accompanied by the expansion of the adaptive zone and exit to other natural zones.

L. E. Grinin and A. V. Korotaev believe that the concept of arogenesis is quite applicable to social evolution , where the emergence of a new social arogenic quality

there is always the result of a synthesis of the supra-social (civilizational, regional, world-system, up to the universal) scale of development and the characteristics of the society that has carried out the innovation. [3]
