Biography
Blandin was born in the family of the famous French art historian and curator of the Louvre Museum Pierre Verlet (1908-1987).
She graduated from the Paris Conservatory at Marseille de Lacourt (1963), in the same year she was awarded a special prize at the ARD International Competition in Munich . She recorded all the clavier compositions by Francois Couperin , Louis Couperin and Jean Philippe Rameau , the works of Domenico Scarlatti , Girolamo Frescobaldi , Johann Froberger , Elizabeth Jacques de la Guerre , Goldberg Variations and Johann Sebartzin Bieberznach Violin's Well-Tempered Clavier for 16 violin player (with Gerard Poulet ). She taught at various regional conservatories in France.
Music Works
Published a book of notes and thoughts on music, “Musical Offering” ( Fr. L'offrande musicale ; 2002).
Recognition
She was awarded the prize of the Academy of Charles Cros, Academy of Recording of France.
