- The names of the cities of Livonia captured by Sweden (including Narva) were excluded from the contract, but the Polish ambassadors in a special statement mentioned the claims of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth for Swedish acquisitions in Livonia.
Value
The Yam-Zapolsky world did not resolve the contradiction between the Russian kingdom and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth , postponing their permission for a longer term [3] . In the Livonian War, Russia did not achieve its goals of mastering the Baltic states, ending the war within the same borders as it had begun. However, the long-standing enemy of Russia, an outpost of Catholic expansion to the East, the Livonian Order , was defeated and ceased to exist [4] .
