Biography
Born on April 27 (May 9 according to the new style) in 1851.
Abram Yakovlevich Lipskerov lived and worked in Moscow since the 1870s. In 1883 he founded the daily newspaper " News of the day ." He was an editor until the closing of the newspaper in 1906 . The newspaper was designed for a wide range of readers. Before the publication of the newspaper, he was a stenographer, recording trials. I recorded the speech of F.N. Plevako . The memoirs of M. P. Chekhov left interesting stories with Lipskerov and Plevako [1] .
In addition, A. Ya. Lipskerov edited the magazines Russian Satirical Leaflet , News of Foreign Literature, and Family [2] .
The office and editorial offices of the Lipskerov newspapers were located in the apartment building of the Moscow Merchant Community (10/8 Ulitsa Kuznetskiy Most - 8/10 Neglinnaya Street ).
The father of the poet and translator Konstantin Lipskerov [3] and documentary filmmaker, photographer George Lipskerov (1896-1977). The cousin of the famous entertainer and entertainer director Fedor Alexandrovich Lipskerov (1911-1977), the father of writer and screenwriter Mikhail Lipskerov . [four]
