Biography

He began his career in 1930 at the Paulistano club, with which he became the champion of the state of São Paulo the following year. In the same club, the young striker is noticed by the coaches of the Brazilian national team, with whom he goes to the 1934 World Cup , where he spends only 1 match on May 27 with Spain .

After the World Cup, Armandinho began wandering around the clubs, several months at the Independent from Sao Paulo, half a season at Botafogo , where almost all the stars of the then Brazilian team played, he played a little in Portugal . The following year, Armandinho moved to Bahia to play for the team of the same name, but quickly returned to his hometown of São Paulo, although he helped make Bahia the state champion. Then he plays only in São Paulo: in Estudiantes, in Portuguese Santista , in Santos and ends his career in 1942 at the Comercial Club.
