Gameplay
The game process consists of managing space civilization: managing the economy, colonizing space, exploring new technologies, fighting (or collaborating) with other civilizations. The player issues tasks, the results of which are calculated in the next turn, and all players receive control in turn. The goal of the game is to conquer all inhabited planets of the game galaxy, achieve maximum development in technology or defeat the ancient race of Experimenters.
Key game controls:
- Galaxy Map - the main playing field, contains a galaxy map, fleet movement routes, etc.
- SitRep ( Situation Report ) is a situation report containing links to all events that occurred during the calculation of the next move.
- Production - a list of production facilities and management of production tasks.
- Research - The technology tree and research task management.
- Ship Design - Spaceship Design Management. Allows you to create and modify ships using freshly discovered technology.
The current version of the game has some limitations:
- There is no tactical battle - the result of a fleet collision is calculated automatically.
Game Development
On August 30, 2018, version 0.4.8 was released. [2] This is the latest stable alpha version. According to the plan posted on the game’s official website [3] , the development will be carried out in 10 steps (the current one is step 4.1), and the result of the 10th step will be the final alpha version containing all the expected game functions.
The start of work dates back to 2005 .
