Simonyak N.P. is dedicated to the exposition in the Museum " Road of Life " in the form of a large photograph, where the commander of the Leningrad Front , Army General L. A. For its heroism, courage and bravery, the division was transformed into the 63rd Guards, and its commander, a veteran of the Civil War, a participant in the legendary Taman campaign, defender Hanko, Major General N.P. Simonyak, was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union. The division, and then the corps commanded by N.P. Simonyak, participated in all major operations and, as a rule, acted in the directions of the main attack. That is why he was called the "breakthrough general."
