The Yalta Yaila is a hilly plateau covered with mountain (alpine) meadows with an abundance of grass and flowers, and in some places with light forest. From the west, the Yalta Yaila passes into the Ai-Petrinskaya Yayla (the boundary between them is the Endeck-Dere hollow), from the east it is separated by the upper reaches of the Uch-Kosh gorge and the Uch-Kosh-Bogaz pass from the Gurzuf yayla [3] .
In this mountain range, karst forms of relief of the Mediterranean type are widespread: caves and dips. The southern slopes of the Yayla are part of the Yalta Mountain Forest Reserve .
Yaila is a popular tourist attraction. The easiest path leading to the Yalu from Yalta is the Iograf-Bogaz trail, which goes along the spur Iograph.
