Student Village - a complex of eight dormitories and related infrastructure in Minsk for students. It occupies the territory along Čiurlionis Street between Dzerzhinsky Avenue and Karolinsky passage. The capacity of the complex is 7500 people, not counting one object under construction [1] .

Construction
Construction started in 2009 . The completion of the construction was originally planned in 2013 , then the deadline was extended to 2015 [2] . In connection with the preparations for the European Games in 2019 , all the construction of the village was completed. Eight hostels and part of the planned infrastructure (shopping center and indoor ice rink) were built.
In April 2012 , construction began on the main 25-story building of the ensemble of the student village, intended for graduate students and undergraduates. At around 16 floors, due to financial difficulties, construction was suspended and resumed in 2017 [1] . In April 2019 , the hostel was commissioned [3] .
Complex structure
The complex consists of eight dormitories designed for more than 9000 students from eight universities. There are a library, shops, cafe, laundry, facilities for sports and creativity, therapeutic, dental and treatment rooms, an ice palace and a kindergarten [4] .
During the 2014 World Hockey Championship in Minsk, a “fan village” was located in the student village. Participants of the European Games 2019 [5] [6] also lived here.
