Construction History

After a decision was made in 1930 on the construction of the Ural-Kuznetsk Combine , on August 20, 1931, construction of a thermal power station for power supply to the Kuznetsk Metallurgical Combine (KMK) was started. However, in 1930, temporary power generating units were operating [2]

  • On January 14, 1932, the first boiler was put into continuous operation;
  • January 21, four days ahead of schedule, the first turbine with a capacity of 6 thousand kW was launched;
  • On February 3, 1932, the second turbine produced the first current for testing the motor generator of the KMK blast furnace;
  • February 10, 1932 began the constant operation of the station;
  • April 1932 - start-up of the third turbine with a capacity of 24 thousand kW ;
  • On September 17, 1932, a fourth turbine with a capacity of 24 thousand kW was also delivered under industrial current. The first phase of the CHP was brought to design capacity.

In 1935, the station reached a design capacity of 108 MW .

It was the first power plant of district significance. Not only KMK and other enterprises of Stalin began to operate on its electricity, but also mines in the cities of Prokopyevsk and Osinniki , iron mines in Temirtau and Telbes, as well as an agglomeration factory in the village. Mundybash.

At that time, it was the largest CHP in the country. The equipment for this CHP was mainly supplied from Germany and France. The domestic industry did not yet produce sufficiently powerful turbines, generators and boiler units. In connection with the construction of a thermal power plant in Kuzbass, electric networks with a voltage of 35 and 110 kilovolts were built.

In September 1936, a 110 kV power line was constructed between the cities of Belovo and Prokopyevsk . With the commissioning of this 110 kV overhead line, the Kemerovo State District Power Plant and the CHP of the Kuznetsk Metallurgical Plant began to work on a common electric network.

In 1942, the cooling pool was expanded

Enterprise Owners

In 1954, the CHPP left KMK as an independent enterprise of the Kuzbassenergo energy system.

In 2002-2003 it was managed by Metallenergofinans. It was part of Evraz .

On January 1, 2013, she left Evraz and the Central TPP LLC was established.

On September 15, 2013 EVRAZ sold the CHPP to the ownership of Wholesale Electric Company for 10 thousand rubles.

In June 2014, transferred to the municipal property management committee of the city of Novokuznetsk.

Number of employees −466 [3]

The situation for 2015:

In relation to LLC Central CHP (TIN 4217148426), a petition was filed for bankruptcy [4] (bankruptcy case No. А27-11770 / 2014 [5] is considered by the Arbitration Court of the Kemerovo Region), in the framework of this case, the definition of February 10, 2015 introduced observation procedure, then by a decision of June 30, 2015, the company was declared bankrupt and a bankruptcy proceedings procedure was introduced [6] .

Since the end of 2014, the CHPP property complex was leased to another company [7] - Central Heating and Power Plant LLC (TIN 4217141332), which also accepted employees of the CHPP [8] and, on its own behalf, began to produce heat energy, which was then sold to consumers .

On June 27, 2015, the CHP property complex was returned to Tsentralnaya CHP LLC (TIN 4217148426), workers were transferred there again [9] , and the production and sale of thermal energy was resumed at this enterprise.

Interesting Facts

It is planned to transfer CHP to coal-water fuel [10]
