Geography
It is located 15 km northwest of the village of Tim , along the Kursk - Voronezh highway. Adjacent to forest areas (Volchonkov, Tarasov, Chekanovsky - local names of forests).
History
The name of the farm comes from the outdated word “cabits”, which meant in Russian dialects of the Don and Kuban, as well as in Ukrainian - a stove or a hearth . Foundation time is not known exactly. In 1950-1970 he was a prosperous collective farm and numbered about 70-80 yards.
Current status
Currently, it is an endangered village where one family officially lives (2 people). The farm has 6 houses, 5 of which are empty. In the summer, the number of residents increases to 5-7 people.
