Kamyshenka ( kaz. Kamyshenka ) is a village in the Astrakhan district of the Akmola region of Kazakhstan . Included in the Pervomaisky rural district. Located about 38 km south-east of the center of the village of Astrakhanka . The KATO code is 113653400 [1] .

Geography
The village is located on the left bank of the Ishim River .
History
The place where the village of Kamyshenka spread nowadays was called the eleventh point of KarLAG . In 1936, Polish special settlers from Ukraine were settled here.
In 1973, Kamyshenskaya secondary school was opened in the village of Kamyshenka [2]
In 1991, the construction of the church began [3] . In 2006, the local parish was awarded the icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa.
Until 2009, the village was the administrative center and the only settlement of the abolished Kamyshensky rural district [4] .
Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 944 people (465 men and 479 women) [5] . According to the 2009 census , 908 people lived in the village (462 men and 446 women) [5] .
