Dacha Zoshchenko is a dacha in Sestroretsk , in which the outstanding Russian writer Mikhail Mikhailovich Zoshchenko lived from 1946 to 1958. It is a historical monument of regional importance on the basis of the decision of the Executive Committee of the Leningrad City Council No. 963 of 12/05/1988. Located on Polevaya street, house number 14-a.

History
Zoshchenko bought this house in the name of his wife in 1939 . His family came here to rest in the summer months. Here Zoshchenko wrote a lot. Death found him in a house on Polevoy in 1958 at the age of 62 years [1] .
After the death of the writer, the same furnishings, personal items, and his works remained in his rooms until 1970. Tourists from holiday homes, sanatoriums came here, Leningraders came. I. Rudnitskaya, a methodologist at the Leningrad Travel and Excursions Bureau, proposed to set up a memorial museum here, B. Maksimov, executive secretary of the district's Monument Protection Society, sent a letter to the Leningrad City Monument Protection Society. [2]
In the early 1990s, the cottage was on fire, was ruined and later sold. In 2008, buildings were built in its place, only vaguely reminiscent of the writer's summer house. The model of the dacha, made by Sergei Samusenko, is installed in the lobby of the Central Library of the Kurortny District named after M. M. Zoshchenko, located in Sestroretsk.
The library collects exhibits about the life and work of the writer. In front of the library at the Zoshchenko monument, annually, Zoshchenkov readings take place on birthdays and in memory. Popular interest in the work and life of the writer has not waned over the years. There are both permanent museums and exhibitions, and mobile, mobile, made in the form of suitcases .
