Biography
David Krumholtz was born into a poor Jewish family. His mother is a dentist, Judy, who emigrated to the United States from Hungary in 1956 ; father - postal worker Michael. Grew up with older sister Don. He graduated from New York University .
Krumholtz began his acting career at thirteen years on Broadway . Debut film work: the film " Living with Mikey " ( 1993 ) with Michael J. Fox . In 1994, he starred in the TV series Monty , but he was soon closed, only a few episodes came out. He starred in several feature films, including Ice Wind , Beverly Hills Slums , 10 Causes of My Hate , Altitude of Freedom . The first film where Krumholtz played a major role was the romantic comedy “ Well, you and a moron .” This film, where Krumholtz co-starred with Milla Jovovich , was released only on DVD . In 2004 there were two very different films where Krumholtz played small roles: “ Ray ” and “ Harold and Kumar go to the top ”.
Finally, in 2005, the actor appeared in the series “ Numbers ”, where he played the brilliant mathematician Charlie Epps, who helps his brother- FBI agent investigate crimes. Telecritic Matt Rush wrote that the role of Charlie Epps for Krumholtz is “perhaps his best work on television” [3] . In this television series also played two actors, with whom Krumholtz already worked together. With Judd Hirsch, he played on Broadway, and with Peter McNicol in the movie The Values of the Addams Family .
Personal life
From May 22, 2010 [4] he is married to actress Vanessa Britting , whom he met in June 2008 . The couple have two children: daughter Pemma May Kramholts [4] (born 05/05/2014) [4] and son Jonas Krumholts (born December 7, 2016)
