Origin
The ancestors of modern Hungarian cops have been known since the X century - most likely, they appeared in the Carpathians with the Magyar nomadic tribes. The scaffolds have been favorites of the Hungarian aristocracy for many years. These dogs had a bright reddish-golden color.
Thanks to its delicate scent, it survived clearly and quickly works on the trail. In addition, the hunting advantages of this dog include endurance, excellent stamina, the ability to adapt to difficult weather conditions and almost any terrain: the survivor works equally well both on rough terrain and in thickets of marsh plants.
Appearance
The traditional color of the Hungarian vyzhly - reddish-golden and its various shades. Reddish or dark brown tones are undesirable. In this case, a small white spot on the chest is allowed. As for the structure of the coat, there are two varieties of Hungarian vyssla: wire-haired and short-haired. In coarse-haired, the hair is longer and tougher to the touch, it does not fit so tightly to the body. Shorthair - the coat is short, smooth, dense and snug.
The color of the nose, paw pads and claws must necessarily match the color of the coat. This is a hallmark of the Hungarian vyzhly from other similar in color dogs, such as the Rhodesian Ridgeback or the red-bones Pointing Dog (Redbone Coonhound), in which the nose and pillows of the legs are black.
The Hungarian survived is an elegant and stately dog with a muscular physique, but at the same time looking very graceful and elegant. This is a medium-sized dog: its height at the withers is from 54 to 64 cm, and its weight is 22 - 30 kg. The Hungarian Pointing Dog has a deep and wide chest, a strong lower back and strong limbs.
Vyzhla has a dry head with a rectangular muzzle, low-set hanging ears, rounded at the ends, brown eyes in tone or slightly darker than the color.
Character
Friendly and affectionate squeezed easily converges with people. In a family, as a rule, she chooses one owner for herself. Hungarian survived - a very energetic and agile dog, it rarely remains in a state of complete rest, preferring outdoor games and physical exercises to rest. In everyday life she survived in need of active pursuits.
These are usually very calm and balanced dogs, they rarely show aggression, they are friendly towards most people. Loyal to their masters and ready to protect them at any time. Brave and smart, she easily learns how to execute commands. But in the learning process, in no case should you be rude. It can only be influenced by understanding and attentive to it.
