Biography
Born on December 10 ( 23 ), 1912 in Kineshma (now Ivanovo Region ). He graduated from Moscow Power Engineering Institute in 1940 . Member of the CPSU (b) since 1948.
Under his leadership, the first Soviet Gneiss-2 radar, the radar defense of the rear hemisphere of the Argon aircraft, the Izumrud aircraft radar sights [1] , the Emerald-2, the Emerald-2M, and high-precision range finder , the first K-5 air-to-air missile system; created a radar targeting "Hurricane", began the development of anti-aircraft missile system "Kub" .
In 1958 he was appointed General Designer of the self-propelled SAM "Cube".
He died on January 8, 1985 . He was buried in Moscow at the Kuntsevo Cemetery . His name was given to the Institute of Instrument Engineering .
