Dabe Khabievich Mamsurov ( Osset. Mamsyrat Khabiyy firt Dæbe ; July 27, 1909 , Dargavs , SOASSR , USSR - August 21, 1966 , Ordzhonikidze , USSR ) - Soviet Ossetian writer, poet and playwright. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1939.

Biography

Born July 27, 1909, in a peasant family. In 1919-1921 he studied at a boarding house at the Ardon Seminary. From 1924 he studied at a rural school, in 1926-1930 - at the North Ossetian Pedagogical College. After his graduation, he worked as a teacher. In 1931, the first collection of poems “First Steps” was published. In 1933-1935 he studied at Leningrad University .

Author of the novel-trilogy “Khabatyrty kadag” (“Poem about the Heroes”, 1948-1958), the novel “Heavy Operation” (1939), the novel “People Are People” (1960), the drama “The Leader of Bagatar” (staged in 1940) , “Sons of Bath” (set in 1942), the novel “Masters of Life” (1947).

He died on August 21, 1966 in Ordzhonikidze . He was buried there, in the Necropolis of the Ossetian Church .
