History and Architecture [1]
Previously, the cottage had the architectural fame “House- Tale ”. It was supposedly built by architect S. G. Ginger in 1907 from wood in the traditions of Russian folk architecture with modern elements, while preserving the unity of the constructive and decorative beginning. The surviving murals on the facades, according to the assumption of local historians, could be created according to the drawings of V. M. Vasnetsov .
For many years this summer cottage was occupied by an exit summer kindergarten . After a series of repairs, the crumbling fairytale decors were cleaned. In 2008 , the building was partially ruined after a fire and put up for sale.
In 2014, Vazhevskaya’s cottage was owned by the Olympic Reserve State Budgetary Educational Institution, while the owner did not monitor the preservation of the architectural monument. [2]
In the winter of 2018, repair work began on the roof of the Vazheevskaya dacha after personal intervention in the situation of G.S. Poltavchenko . [3]
