History
The 6971st air base from the 7th East Kazakhstan Brigade (the former 487th separate helicopter regiment of the combat command and the 368th assault air regiment of the 1st Guards mixed air division of the 4th Army Air Force and Air Defense ) is deployed at the airport. The airbase is armed with Su-25SM3 attack aircraft , Mi-28N , Mi-35M helicopters [1] .
