He graduated from the conservatory in Bari with Angela Montemurro. Then he studied in France with Francois Joël Tioye and at the Chigi Academy with Joaquin Achucarro , and later followed his last teacher in Dallas , where he continued his studies at Southern Methodist University . In 1999 , he won the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition , then in 2000 the Leeds International Piano Competition . He participated in the Oldeburg Festival, the Verbier Festival and other significant events of international musical life.
He recorded, together with his wife, pianist Lucille Chang , an album with all the works of György Ligeti for two pianos and for piano four hands, together with the organist Stefan Engels - compositions by Marcel Dupre for organ and piano. Other Bucks records include Beethoven and Brahms concerts.
