Biography

Born in the family of engineer Vasily Vasilievich and musician and teacher Nina Petrovna Chelobanovs. He studied at school number 15 and at a music school in piano; did not graduate from music school, carried away by playing the guitar. In his youth he was engaged in boxing. In 10th grade, he was the boxing champion of the Saratov region.

The music of the bands Deep Purple , Led Zeppelin , Rolling Stones , Al Jarreau , James Brown and The Beatles helped a lot to take seriously a musical career and recall the initial musical education. In 1980, he played in the VIA "Singing Hearts" in the Balakovo Palace of Chemist Culture; Thanks to the game in the ensemble, he met his wife Lyudmila. Then he served in the army, in the construction battalion near Sverdlovsk , where he was the leader of the orchestra, head club and projection engineer [1] . He was a member of various musical groups: "Youth", "Stone Flower", " Singing Hearts ", " Young Voices ", "Limousine", "Integral" , " H-Band " Created the projects "Guard" and "Summer"

Education

He continued his musical education at ZNUI ( Correspondence People's University of Arts , Moscow).

Solo career

His solo career began thanks to Arkady Ukupnik , who gave Sergey the music editor of the Central Television and producer Marta Mogilevskaya to listen to the cassette with Sergey’s recordings.

The debut of the group H-Band took place in 1990 in the c / c " Olympic ".

In the fall of 1990, Sergei Chelobanov personally got acquainted with Alla Pugacheva . One of the joint hits recorded by the duet is Uninvited Guest (1991).

In the same year, Chelobanov appeared in the program “ Blue Light ” with the song “Come with me” (music by S. Chelobanov; lyrics by V. Artamonov).

In 1991, the first solo album, The Uninvited Guest, was released, which was released only in 1993 . The second album “I don’t know how to tell you ...” was also released in 1993. At the same time, Chelobanov recorded two songs for the film " God's creature ."

But in 1994, Chelobanov with Alla Pugacheva breaks.

He began to perform again in 2007 thanks to the project “You are a superstar”, where he took third place.

Twice judged . The first time received 3.5 years probation for stealing a motorcycle . The second time sentenced to 3 years in prison for theft of a synthesizer . During imprisonment he sang and played in a local club in the village of Repnoye, Balashov district, Saratov region .
