Lucretia Porshiya Simpson-Miller (born December 12, 1945 ) is a Jamaican politician and Prime Minister of Jamaica from March 30, 2006 to September 11, 2007 and from January 5, 2012 to February 29, 2016 . The first woman is the prime minister in Jamaica history [1] . Leader of the People's National Party .

Porshiya Simpson-Miller graduated from Miami ( USA ) with a degree in Management, Computer Science, and Programming [2] . Was twice elected Prime Minister of Jamaica. In the elections held on December 29, 2011 , the People’s National Party won, receiving 41 seats out of 60 in parliament [3]
