Dolgolyadye is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Glinkovsky district . The population is 15 inhabitants ( 2007 ) [1] . It is located in the central part of the region 5 km north of the village of Glinka , 18 km west of the R137 Safonovo - Roslavl highway, on the banks of the Ustrom River. 9 km south of the village is the Glinka railway station on the Smolensk - Sukhinichi line . It is part of the Glinkovsky rural settlement.

History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Hitler troops in July 1941 , liberated during the Yelninsky-Dorogobuzh operation in 1943 . In August 1941, fierce battles took place in the village area between the 129th Infantry Division of the 20th Army of the Soviet Army and the 263rd Infantry Division of the German Army [2] .
