The SR-25 is a self-loading sniper rifle developed by Eugene Stoner in the 1990s based on the design of the AR-15 rifle.

Description
Over 60% of the details in the design of the rifle are interchangeable with AR-15 [2] .
SR-25 has gas exhaust automation. The receiver is made of aluminum alloy - of two parts, which are interconnected by transverse pins. The trigger mechanism makes it possible to fire single shots. Sights consist of a folding front sight and an adjustable diopter rear sight.
Operator countries
- USA : in early 2001, about 400 units were ordered for special forces of the US Navy SR-25 (in the version Mk.11 Mod.0), of this amount, up to the beginning of February 2003, about 70 were received [2]
- Poland : in the spring of 2008, several SR-25 rifles purchased for the GROM special forces were shown [3]
