Factory History
The founding date of the plant is considered to be July 13, 1932, when the Charter of the State Administration for Construction and Temporary Operation of the Krasnoyarsk Machine-Building Plant - " Stroykrasmash " was adopted by order of the People’s Commissariat of Heavy Industry . At that time, the plant produced dredges , steam boilers and excavators for gold mines .
Since the founding of the plant, eleven workers have been awarded the high title Hero of Socialist Labor , twelve have become laureates of the USSR State Prize .
Since 2014 (?), The plant has been upgrading .

Fire

Products
Before the Great Patriotic War, the plant produced mine hoisting machines, mine hoists , roadheaders , logging machines , trolleys, mine stands, skips, copra, conveyors and other equipment for the gold mining industry; also boats , barges , equipment for the oil industry, etc.
During the war period, the plant was one of the manufacturers of guns of various systems for the Red Army (including automatic anti - aircraft 61-K ), mortars , large bombs, and sea mines.
In 1949, the serial production of automatic anti-aircraft guns S-60 was organized, and in 1956 - twin automatic anti-aircraft guns for self-propelled guns ZSU-57-2 .
In 1959-1965, the plant was reconstructed to produce new rocket and space technology .
From 1958 to 1961, the plant made leading bridges of SK-3 combine harvesters from civilian products, and since 1964 it produced refrigerators under the well-known Biryusa brand.
The plant is the main manufacturer of ballistic missiles ( R-29RMU2 "Sineva") for submarines . In addition, it produces base modules for the upper stage for Zenit and Proton launch vehicles .
With the beginning of perestroika, production was launched:
- growth plants for growing polysilicon crystals;
- heat exchange equipment and separators;
- boiler and tank equipment and other products.
The plant received an order for the production of torches for the 2014 Olympics in Sochi [4] [5] . A total of 16,000 torches were produced under the factory name "KMZI 014". The cost of the product amounted to 12,000 rubles.
As part of the implementation of the State Defense Order-2016, the plant is manufacturing the Sineva ICBM [6] .
Work is underway to fulfill the state order to create a fifth-generation mine-based strategic missile system with the RS-28 Sarmat heavy multi-stage liquid intercontinental ballistic missile [7]
