Andre Keith Braugher ( born Andre July Keith Braugher ; born July 1, 1962 ) is an American actor best known for playing the killer department detective Frank Pambleton in the TV series The Slaughter Department (1993-1999) [1] .

Biography
The son of a postal worker Sally Brower and a bulldozer Floyd Brower; he was the youngest of four children. He graduated from Stanford University ( 1984 ) and the Juilliard School .
The film debut took place in 1989 - in the film about the American Civil War “ Glory ”, where he played together with Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington . The most famous role of Brouwer is Detective Frank Pambleton in the television series “ Slaughter Department ”, for which he received several awards. In 1997, he was on the list of the most beautiful people in the world, compiled by People magazine . He played the main roles in the plays based on Shakespeare’s plays “ Coriolanus ”, “ Richard II ”, “ Othello ”, “ Measure for Measure ”.
Married to actress Amy Brabson. They have three sons.
