Rawalya, Roberto

Rawalya, Roberto

Roberto Ravaglia is a former Italian race car driver.

Roberto Ravaglia was born on May 26, 1957 in Venice (Italy). After two titles in karting, he moved to F3 in the early 80s, but in 1984 he made his debut in body racing, with which he linked his further career (mainly with the BMW brand). In four championships, he took seven titles in eight years (6 in a row). After completing a racing career in 1997, he began organizing his own team. ROAL Motorsport is considered one of the strongest teams exhibiting BMW cars, and it is not surprising that the Bavarian concern instructs it to represent its brand in auto racing. So, ROAL Motorsport represented BMW in the WTCC as Team Italy / Spain with racers Alex Zanardi and Felix Porteiro . The team is also represented in the Italian Super-Tourism Championship (where it won in 2005 with Alex Zanardi) and the SuperStar 's series.
