Rolling Stone magazine rated the album 4 out of 5 points, noting that “Girls' Songs is a full-fledged album with a permanent line-up formed six years ago. Pelagia and her colleagues position themselves precisely as a group, and this is justified, because young musicians, especially guitarist and arranger Pavel Deshura, play a much more important role here than a banal accompaniment ” [3] .
Guru Ken in his review for the business newspaper Vzglyad set the album 7 out of 10 points, writing that the album “turned out to be a vocalist’s chanting and a rock rehearsal rehearsal, and the lessons were clearly different for them. First of all, Russian songs suffered. Deprived of dramatic intrigue, used only as material for exercises, folk songs faded, died, scattered on dry notes ” [4] .
