In 2000, Suleimenov, having slightly changed his appearance, drove in KamAZ loaded with watermelons along the Shymkent-Astana highway. During the route, he gave bribes to police officers who asked for bribes. The total amount of bribes was 32,200 tenge, and the number of police bribe takers was 36.
