Hockey

The winners of the hockey tournament at the Universiade 1999 were the Ukrainian team [1] , the second place was taken by the Slovak team, and the third - Canada. In total, 9 teams participated in the competition.

Biathlon

8 sets of awards were played in biathlon - 4 among men and women. Three gold medals each were won by teams from Slovakia and Poland, two gold from the Russian team.
