My own private alaska

My Own Private Alaska is an original French band playing screamo , experimental . They are distinguished by the fact that the group does not have a guitar , and the composition includes a pianist , drummer and vocalist . In 2008, their first demo album, called MOPA, was released. It is noteworthy that behind the eyes of the group was dubbed "three seated musicians" who perform music exclusively while sitting. In 2010, the group released an album called Amen. In April 2011, the band released an acoustic album called The Red Sessions.

Musicians hide their names: T. - piano, Y. - drums, M. - vocals. Nevertheless, their real names became known: Tristan, Yohan, Matthieu Miègeville.

In August 2014, on their Facebook page, the group announced the termination of their activities and thanked the fans for supporting MOPA all this time.
