Edvinas Krungolcas ( lit. Edvinas Krungolcas ; born January 21, 1973 in Vilnius , USSR ) is a well-known Lithuanian pentathlete , silver medalist of the 2008 Olympic Games in individual competition , 2006 world champion in individual and team competition, three-time European champion (2003, 2004 and 2005) in the individual competition. The illustrious Lithuanian pentathlete completed his career in modern pentathlon in 2013.

Biography
He grew up in Vilnius, studied at 7 high school, then at Vilnius sports boarding school. The first trainers are V. Tautvydienė and E. Tautvydas. In 1994 became the world champion in modern pentathlon among juniors. In the same year he graduated from the Lithuanian Police Academy, in 2002 graduated from the University of Mykolas Romeris.
At the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, he won a silver medal, receiving 5548 points.
