Sivtsevo is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Glinkovsky district . The population is 32 inhabitants ( 2007 ) [1] . It is located in the central part of the region 14 km south-east of the village of Glinka , 5 km south of the highway P96 Novoaleksandrovsky (A101) - Spas-Demensk - Yelnya - Pochinok . 12 km north of the village, the railway station of the 524th km on the Smolensk - Sukhinichi line . It is part of the Berdnikovsky rural settlement.

History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in July 1941 , liberated during the Yelninsky-Dorogobuzh operation in 1943 .
Bodakov was born here , Afanasy Lavrentievich - Hero of the Soviet Union.
Attractions
- The obelisk on the mass grave of 155 soldiers of the Soviet Army and partisans who died in 1941 - 1943. in battles with the Nazi invaders [2] .
