TICAM-2 , or TRAM ( Eng. TIR domain-containing adapter molecule 1, TICAM-1; TRAM ) - intracellular adapter protein , belongs to the group of TIR domain-containing proteins involved in signal transduction from toll-like receptors . Opened in 2003, it participates in the functioning of the antibacterial defense receptor TLR4 in its MyD88 -independent signaling pathway.
