Loshak ( lo [shad] + [and] shak) - a cross between a stallion and a donkey . Contrasted with the mule , in which the gender of the parents is distributed on the contrary. With the exception of the head with short ears, the outward loshak differs little from the donkey, except that his voice sounds somewhat different. Loshakov bred in the Mediterranean countries and in Asia . However, since they are inferior to mules in performance and endurance, they are much less common than mules.
