Jermaine Mason ( Eng. Germaine Mason ; January 20, 1983 , Kingston , Jamaica - April 20, 2017 , Kingston , Jamaica ) is a British high jumper born in Jamaica and advocated for this country until 2006.

He won silver and bronze medals at the junior world championships in 2000 and 2002, respectively. The first success in the adult championships came to him in 2003 at the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo , where Mason won a gold medal with a personal record of 2.34 m. On August 19, 2008 at the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing he won a silver medal with a result of 2.34 m
Jermain Mason's trainer was Sue Humphrey. Jermaine is the second cousin of British sprinter Simon Williamson, winner of the 2009 World Cup relay race 4 Γ 100 m.
On April 20, 2017 in Kingston, Jermain Mason died in a motorcycle accident [2] .
