Zinaida Vasilievna Kholmskaya (nee Krestovozdvizhenskaya , in Timofeev's first marriage; 1866 - 1936 ) - Russian actress. The common-law wife of Alexander Kugel .
She graduated from the Music and Drama School of the Moscow Philharmonic Society ( 1891 ), a student of V.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko . She played in the theaters of Bryansk , Riga , Yekaterinburg , Kostroma , Kiev , from 1895 in St. Petersburg , including in 1904 - 1906 . at the Komissarzhevskaya theater.
She is best known as the founder, along with her second husband Alexander Kugel , and one of the leading actresses in the theater of the parody “ Crooked Mirror ” ( 1908 - 1918 , 1922 - 1931 ).
