Biography
She studied at the Choir School named after M. I. Glinka , then at the Leningrad Conservatory . Winner of the World Festival of Youth and Students in Warsaw ( 1955 ). She won the first awards of the International Competition named after Robert Schumann ( Berlin , 1956 ) and the name of Erkel ( Budapest , 1960 ). Recorded a number of songs and romances by Franz Schubert , Robert Schumann , Claude Debussy , Francis Poulenc , Sergei Rachmaninoff ( 1974 - 1975 , with pianist Pavel Serebryakov ). From 1962 she taught at the Leningrad (St. Petersburg) Conservatory, professor, until April 2012 she was the head of the chamber singing department. Among her students is Elena Prokina .
Honored Artist of the RSFSR ( 1970 ), Honored Artist of Russia ( 2006 ) [1] .
