History
The whole history of these places is closely connected with the development of glass production. Berezovka was founded at the end of the XIX century . The city was formed around those founded in the Lida district of the Vilna province of Gut - glass workshops were always called that in White Russia . The first guta was opened in 1875 on the territory of the Borki Ustrany farm . In 1883, she began working as a guta in the Berezovka tract . On September 19, 1883, the local landlord Zenon Lensky applied to the Lida administration for permission to “build a glass factory at the forest dacha in Zenchitsy”. But he was not allowed to build in Zaenchitsy, taking the territory in the forest near Staraya Guta under construction . In 1891, the plant of Lena was rented by Wilhelm Krajewski and Julius Stole. In view of the refusal of Lensky to sell the plant, in 1896, these masters built their own factory on steam . From this moment began the heyday of industry , and hence the city itself.
