Biography

He started shooting in the sixth grade, when coach Yuri Pyatakov was doing a set in the section near the school. Of this set, only Alexander remained in the shooting sport . For six years he trained with Pyatkov, but in 1992 the first coach, who went to his relatives in Sverdlovsk , got into a car accident and died from his injuries. Yuri Pyatkov was only 29 years old. Now his pupil often recalls his coach:

Shortly before his death, Yuri Pyatkov told me the following story. His friend, also a shooting coach, died in a car accident. And the day before he asked his best student not to give up the sport. When the disaster happened, the student continued to train, achieved high results. Maybe Yuri Pyatkov felt irreparable? Why did he tell me this story then? .. [1]

Currently, his coaches are the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Alexander Kaminsky, and the mother of the athlete Lyubomira Vladimirovna Petriv.
