Biography
In 1985, he began shooting in the Yerevan City Sports and Shooting Club under the guidance of Honored Trainer of Armenia Robert Hakobyan, after moving from athletics . He was a member of the national team of the Armenian SSR.
In 1990 he entered the Lviv State Institute of Physical Culture , soon became a member of the national team of the USSR and the USSR . In 1995, after graduation, he was drafted into the Ukrainian army (served in a sports company), in which he continued to serve (in 2008 - senior lieutenant of the Ukrainian border troops ). In 1997 he moved to Simferopol , began training under the leadership of Vadim Klimenko, became a member of the Crimean Republican Council of the FSO Dynamo. The current coach is Bogdan Klimenko [ when? ] .
Since 2014 - in the Russian national team (received Russian citizenship after entering Crimea into Russia ) [1] .

- 2004 - XXVIII Summer Olympic Games ( Athens ) - 7th place.
- 2007 - European Championship - 3rd place in individual competitions.
- 2008 - XXIX Summer Olympic Games ( Beijing ) - 1st place in individual shooting at 50 meters. Already in the qualification, Arthur Ayvazyan showed the first result - 599 points out of 600 possible, and in the final series scored 103.7 points (total - 702.7).
