Content
History
The village of the Volyn province of the Russian Empire . After the Soviet-Polish war, it remained part of the Volyn Voivodeship of Poland .
After the start of World War II in 1941 - 1944, the village was under German occupation .
In 1972, a woodworking plant and a food factory were operating here [2] .
In January 1989, the population size was4476 people [3] .
In May 1995, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a decision on the privatization of the woodworking plant [4] ,
In 2005, the Zabolottya terminal was built [5] .
As of January 1, 2013, the population was 4330 people [6] .
Transportation
Zabolotye railway station on the line Brest - Kovel [2] of the Lviv railway .

- Korsak, Ivan Feodoseevich (1946-2017) - Soviet and Ukrainian writer and journalist.
