Silver medalist of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games as part of the Russian relay team in the 4 × 200 meter freestyle (National team: Nikita Lobintsev, Evgeny Lagunov , Danila Izotov , Alexander Sukhorukov and Mikhail Polishchuk - preliminary race).
Bronze medalist of the 2012 Olympic Games in London as part of the Russian relay team in the 4 × 100 meters freestyle (National team: Andrey Grechin , Nikita Lobintsev, Vladimir Morozov , Danila Izotov).
He stands for the Moscow (Ruza) -Sverdlovsk region. The first coach in Novouralsk, Alexander Kibenko, works with the athlete even now, when Nikita is at home in his native pool.
The International Swimming Federation refused to admit the athlete to the 2016 Olympic Games [1] .
