Biography

1969 - graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs . He spoke French , English and Arabic .

Since 1972 in the diplomatic service. He worked in the central office of the Foreign Ministry and abroad - in the UN Secretariat, the Permanent Mission of the USSR to the UN and the Embassy in the UK .

  • 1990 - 1995 - Deputy Permanent Representative of the USSR , Russia at the International Maritime Organization .
  • 1995 - 1997 - Deputy Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia .
  • 1997 - 1999 - Consul General of Russia in New York ( USA ).
  • June - August 1999 - and about. Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
  • August 1999 - June 2001 - Director of the Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, member of the Board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
