1958 - graduated from MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR (with honors)

1978-1982 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR to the Gabon Republic .

1982-1986 - Deputy Chairman - Executive Secretary of the USSR Commission for UNESCO , member of the Executive Council of UNESCO.

1986-1991 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR to Ireland .
